Slice 6 shallots
Dice 3 carrots, 2 celery
Sauté with Italian seasoning, then toss in 2 dried shiitake mushrooms, splash of Manischewitz and a few cups of water.
Find 2 cups cooked lentils in the freezer, add to the simmer.
When nearly done: pluck out those mushrooms, chop then purée them in blender with a squirt of mustard and 1/2 cup water, S&P to taste.
Stir it up, little darling. This soup tastes fine!
